Sylvie Balenger has more than 31 years at Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, holding diverse roles, including Director of Housekeeping and Regional Director of Learning and Development, showcasing a deep commitment to operational excellence and personnel development within the hospitality sector.
Her career is distinguished by a specialization in customer service across various hotel departments, significantly contributing to her expertise in enhancing service standards and guest experiences.

For 18 years, Balenger excelled as Director of Housekeeping, managing operations in 5 Star and 5 Diamond hotels with 200-350 rooms and overseeing a staff of over 100 employees, including in-house laundry and valet services. Subsequently, she spent 13 years as a Learning & Development Manager, with the last five years as Regional Director overseeing 14 hotels. In this role, she was responsible for training leaders and staff to meet and exceed the high service standards expected in luxury hospitality.

Currently, Sylvie serves as a consultant for Four Seasons and other independent hospitality companies, such as restaurants and chauffeur services, conducting operational assessments, implementing improvement strategies, and emphasizing training to enhance guest satisfaction.
