Deirdre Ryan has over 20 years of experience in sales and marketing within the hospitality industry. With her unique skill set that combines strategy, revenue growth, and creativity, she has achieved financial success and brand growth throughout her career. Through her visionary leadership and strategy, Ryan established the sales department, propelling the company’s revenue from $35 million in 2010 to $160 million by 2019. As VP of Sales and Marketing, she founded the Global Business Development team, generating an additional $3 million in revenue for the portfolio.
Working closely with the creative and cultural teams, Ryan ensured the brand’s integrity through successful partnerships, events, marketing, and PR. Notably, she was part of the original team that transformed Ace Hotels from four relatively unknown hotels into a globally renowned brand. In addition to her tenure at Ace, Ryan founded a sales and marketing consulting company, where she managed diverse projects in hotel branding, PR, real estate sales, and partnerships. She provided strategic guidance to clients, led marketing, PR, and sales efforts for a luxury property, and played a pivotal role in the transition of a hotel to a new management company.
Serving as the VP of Sales, Marketing, and Business Development for an investment firm, she offered leadership and support for various initiatives, including website development, digital marketing, partnerships, programming, B2B sales, and budget management.
Prior to her time at Ace, Ryan contributed to SoHo and Tribeca Grand Hotels, Design Hotels, and Kimpton Hotels in roles spanning sales, entertainment market engagement, and business development in North and South America.
In the spring of 2021, she relocated to enchanting Santa Fe, NM, with her family.
