Carlos is a distinguished senior executive with extensive experience in operations management within the hospitality industry. Renowned for his strategic acumen and visionary leadership, he has a proven track record of driving complex business initiatives and achieving organizational transformation. His expertise includes strategic planning, operational turnarounds, financial analysis, and delivering substantial returns on investment.
As General Consultant and President at Glexco, a premier advisory and consulting firm specializing in the hospitality sector, Carlos leads the firm’s client services, sales, and marketing initiatives. He oversees a comprehensive suite of services, including feasibility studies, concept development, financial modeling, and operational turnarounds. His role also involves managing startup operations, construction coordination, and implementing cost control systems to optimize profitability while ensuring seamless pre- and post-opening operations.
Previously, Carlos held senior leadership roles at Wolfgang Puck Catering, Eurest Dining Services, Urth Caffe, and Auberge Resorts. In these positions, he successfully managed diverse operational concepts, turned around underperforming assets, and drove long-term success.
Carlos holds a Bachelor of Science in Management from Pepperdine University’s Graziadio School of Business and Management. He has furthered his expertise through the International Business Program at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, the Executive Program of Strategy & Execution at Stanford University, and the Leadership & Entrepreneurial Executive Program at Harvard University.
